Inside I have a purple and white doily, his candle, a painting I made for him (just on a small canvas), a bowl for offerings that stay like jewelry and feathers I find. And two, he prefers darkness, so throughout the day when it’s bright and the sun is out, I can have it closed so next to no light gets in, then I just open it around 8pm, since that’s when it actually gets dark out where I live. One, because I’m am not open about my practices and my parents are not accepting of it. First of all, I have it in a small cabinet on my desk, this is for two reasons. While he was asleep though, Poseidon aided the Archaeans fight which Zeus had forbade.įor those of you who want to set up an alter for him, here are some things I’ve included in mine. He was wary this time though, so Hera promised him the hand of Pasithea, who he had loved for some time. The second time when Hera asked him to do so was during the Trojan War. One of the only deities Zeus feared was Nyx. Hypnos flees to the home of his mother, Nyx, who protected him from Zeus. Though Zeus noticed the work of Hypnos and was not put to sleep, Zeus was enraged so he sought to hurt him. The first time she asked him to so that she could cause harm to Heracles.
